[07:41]<@BC_Programming> lol
[07:41]<+camerongray> After us asking them to add some documentation :P
[07:42]<+camerongray> And they only have minified scripts - I love debugging them
[07:42]<+camerongray> var a = new String(location.host + location.pathname);
[07:42]<+camerongray> if (a.charAt(a.length - 1) == "/") {
[07:42]<+camerongray> for (var d = new String, b = 0; b < a.length - 1; b++) d += a.charAt(b);
[07:42]<+camerongray> a = d
[07:42]<+camerongray> }
[07:42]<+camerongray> var c = a.indexOf("/");
[07:42]<+camerongray> No joke!
[07:43]<+camerongray> What's even more fun when the script uses SiteCatalyst which uses an object called 's' and their minifier is crap and breaks it by assigning something else to 's'!

[11:06]<+camerongray> Hey Calum!
[11:06]<@Calum> hey camerongray
[11:07]<+camerongray> Currently sitting on bus having to power my phone off my laptop, I don't look strange at all!
[11:07]<@Calum> haha
[11:08]<+camerongray> At least the laptop sleep charges :P
[11:08]<@Calum> I once did that in a power cut, I turned my laptop on and put it on standby immediately, so it could charge my phone while not draining its battery too quickly
[11:08]<+camerongray> lol yeah
[11:08]<+camerongray> I normally plug my phone into my laptop at work but forgot
[11:09]<+camerongray> at least the laptop has been running on mains all day so it's full
[11:09]<@Calum> I've been pleasantly surprised with the battery life of my new phone, everything I read said it's awful but it's lasting better than my old one
[11:09]<+camerongray> Nice, what one is it again?
[11:09]<@Calum> LG Optimus 4X
[11:09]<@Calum> it does get hot hot hot though
[11:10]<@Calum> and it has an odd quirk where sometimes it likes to charge to 92% and stay there
[11:10]<+camerongray> ahh nice
[11:10]<+camerongray> My nexus gets super hot
[11:10]<+camerongray> sometimes the rear can be too hot to hold comfortably
[11:10]<@Calum> really? I didn't think they were known for heat issues
[11:10]<+camerongray> At the top where I imagine the CPU is
[11:11]<@Calum> yeah that's where mine gets hot, about 3/4 of the way up on the back, right over the CPU
[11:11]<@Calum> there's a well known thing where you can't turn the screen brightness all the way up due to the temperature
[11:12]<@Calum> I've only ran into that twice though and that was when I was stuck on a hot train, on a hot day, after using it for half an hour or so
[11:13]<+camerongray> ahh, mine never has problems due to heat, just gets really hot
[11:13]<+camerongray> Not sure if the glass just conducts heat better than plastic
[11:13]<@Calum> mine likes to clock itself down, too. Seen the battery reach 40C a few times, not sure on the CPU, I don't know if it even has a sensor that can be accessed
[11:14]<@Calum> yeah that's one thing, I guess it's better that the outside gets hot rather than the heat just being insulated
[11:14]<+camerongray> Hmm, I wonder if mine does, that would be interesting to see
[11:15]<@Calum> I use a little widget called Temp+CPU, used it on my Desire Z as well
[11:15]<jamer> my phone is a dual core :P so i can shut off a core if needed
[11:15]<@Calum> shows clock speed, battery temperature and free RAM, unfortunately doesn't show cores so I can't see if it's using the normal quad core or the "companion core" but it's only 1x1 so can't complain heh
[11:16]<@Calum> When I get time I'm going to look into some better monitoring apps, see if I can get some better stats from it
[11:16]<+camerongray> jamer: quad core :D
[11:16]<@Calum> I have 5 cores :D
[11:17]<+camerongray> whaaaa?
[11:17]<@Calum> haha, it's Tegra 3, so it has 4 cores, and a companion core which is separate - only 500MHz, it switches to that on idle to save battery
[11:17]<jamer> i have a galaxy victory XD
[11:18]<@Calum> I assume Tegra doesn't scale down to save power too well, I've seen it scale back to 800MHz which must mean the main CPU is still active, but I guess even if it scales right down it must still use more power than the companion core
[11:18]<@Calum> either that or it's just a marketing gimmick
[11:19]<@Calum> but the standby time is pretty decent so I guess it works pretty well
[11:20]<+camerongray> ahh
[11:20]<+camerongray> gee, thanks interlink! just left a parcel in the regular rubbish bin
[11:20]<+camerongray> now it stinks
[11:20]<@Calum> haha, nice
[11:20]<@Calum> ever heard of a courier called APC Overnight by the way?
[11:21]<+camerongray> what's worse is it's food products for my mum's business
[11:21]<+camerongray> yeah
[11:21]<@Calum> oh wow, bad times
[11:21]<@Calum> yeah APC seem to be pretty bad
[11:21]<jamer> mine will scale down to 300mhz on one core and shuts off the second core
[11:21]<+camerongray> ahh
[11:21]<@Calum> calling their depot just gets me voicemail, with a message that's literally 2 minutes long before I can leave a message to tell them to redeliver - but it cuts off after 10 seconds which isn't enough time to leave a message
[11:22]<@Calum> jamer: that's pretty cool. Haven't come across the victory, guess it's a US only phone? You guys have some weird stuff over there compared to here hah, so many phones that are never released here
[11:22]<+camerongray> ahh, sounds just like shittylink
[11:22]<@Calum> Some of which I wish I could buy lol
[11:23]<@Calum> camerongray: we'll see when I visit the depot tomorrow, whether they're just incredibly rude like citylink or they can actually give me the damn parcel
[11:23]<jamer> calum yeah its a sprint phone
[11:24]<@Calum> it's fairly important as well, was hoping to get it on Monday but they tried to deliver in the 5 minutes I was out, then didn't bother the rest of the week. If they've returned it to sender I'm gonna be unhappy to say the least
[11:24]<jamer> im on jelly bean now O.o
[11:31]<+camerongray> Calum: Yeah lol

[16:35]<+camerongray> woop# bloody phone!
[16:40]<@Mulreay> Camerongray that may have been the ATV4.. it's a supply ship meeting up with the ISS.. flies past about 10-15mins after the ISS as it's catching up
[16:47]<+camerongray> Hmm
[16:47]<+camerongray> There were 2 dots moving in the same path
[16:47]<+camerongray> But was after he iss
[16:47]<+camerongray> around 23:30
[16:48]<+camerongray> and they faded out mid-sky
[16:48]<+camerongray> Would have been heading north too
[16:49]<+camerongray> But there certainly was 2 things! one faded first and the other faded later
[16:53]<@Mulreay> Cool, well the next ATV4 pass should be after the next ISS pass.. the ISS will pass at about 00:20 and the ATV4 at 00:33 same trajectory as the ISS
[16:53]<+camerongray> Ahh, nice!
[16:54]<+camerongray> Might hang around when I get off the bus!
